My mother is a good cook, something we all say. However in my case it’s slightly different. My expertise and likeness towards cooking, baking etc come’s from her.
I am an EA, to CEO’s in corporates. I was out of work and wanted to do something to earn the extra bit of dosh to run my house. I used to bake here and there but not much. I decided to take a months course in baking and decorating, which I did in Bangalore. Learnt the basics and came back.
I arrive back in Mumbai 2 days before my birthday and decided to bake my 40th Birthday cake. I also gave my self a birthday present, the start of my baking company from home.
My first order was given to me by a friend and wellwisher, Anuja.
I think if it wasn’t for her insisting I make a cake for her I don’t think I would’ve had the confidence to take order’s so quickly.
I spent day’s and days inventing my flavours and testing out cake after cake after cake.
My first order was a massive hit and after that came many more and the rest is a history.
